Flat Pack Miter Saw Stand - CNC Machined Plywood Project
This video documents the design and CNC fabrication of a rolling tool cart and miter saw stand cut entirely from a single sheet of plywood, with all joints and features designed in Fusion 360 for flat-pack assembly. The creator walks through the CAD process, CNC cutting, and assembly, showing how the interlocking parts come together without traditional joinery. The project addresses workshop organization challenges and demonstrates practical CNC router applications for furniture-style builds.
Video Description
Here's a rolling tool cart I designed and CNC'd from a single sheet of plywood, engineered to come together kind of like flat-pack furniture. My home shop has always been a bit of an organizational disaster, and I'd been putting off doing something about it for way too long. This cart is meant to be part of the solution to my problems, and a platform I get to over-engineer. In designing the whole thing first in Fusion 360, I could ensure the joints would be strong, features would be exactly wh

5Nice design with a great result. The only problem is that we now want to see your take on the flipping cart now 😆
Spray a little water on the cupped side, cover it with black garbage bag and leave it out in the sun for a moment. It might flatten it again
Great project. I remember my days pouring over ShopNotes for cool shop projects like this.
My (very limited) experience of sheet materials is ideally you don't store it but immediately cut/assemble it immediately when you get it home
Great to see you back!
